Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. She has a father who is Nigerian as well as Swiss as well as her mom is English. After being a regular for the first two seasons, it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to quit the show following an appearance as a guest in the pilot episode of the third season. Madekwe starred as Tituba in the TV show Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe and her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Four of her older brothers were present as well: twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. The four brothers of Ashley, all very physically active, were all playing hockey during the winter months and played baseball in the summers, meaning she basically grew up in parks and arenas.
