Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. She has a father who is Nigerian as well as Swiss as well as her mom is English. She was born and lived in a housing estate run by the council in the south of London. In the ages of 14, she attended The Brit School. She earned her BA in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe played the lead role in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others, a comedic comedy that was released in 2008. Her credits in theatre comprise Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams and Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe first aired in the US by presenting The Beautiful Life. The drama series ran in the US on The CW for only two episodes before being cancelled. She was cast in February 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. After being a regular for the first two seasons, it was reported in late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to quit the show following an appearance as a guest in the pilot episode of the third season. Madekwe starred as Tituba in the TV show Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe and her boyfriend who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were married in June 2012. They collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared with Madekwe in Salem.
Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into an extended family of. Four of her older brothers were present as well: twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. The four brothers of Ashley, all very physically active, were all playing hockey during the winter months and played baseball in the summers, meaning she basically grew up in parks and arenas. Ashley was unable to walk, but danced. In the end, as she grew older She discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley was hooked on dance from that moment. Ashley competed in top-level divisions in jazz, tap hip-hop, ballet Acrobatics, Lyrical Musical Theatre as well as pointe until the time she completed from high school. In addition, she won top soloists awards in all major dance contests, like the International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more.
